Who pays: labs (catalogue deals, market ~$1–4/min). Who earns: creators 20–40%, Reecorder 60–80%.

The biggest lever (zero-egress margin). Feeds #1 (subscription subsidy) and finances the payout promises of #3/#4. Needs volume — which #3 clippers and the community supply engine deliver.

Clip splits

Who earns: clipper + streamer per split rate; Reecorder takes a platform fee on monetised community clips.

Small directly, huge indirectly: clippers earn without own content → they clip the long tail → feeds #2 (more supply) and Watch (more traffic), and makes opening up clipping attractive for streamers (free reach).

③–④STREAM #4

Bounties / commissions

Who pays: labs (bespoke, premium rates). Who earns: creators & clippers per accepted submission; Reecorder margin on the deal.

Fills exactly the supply gaps that #2 catalogue inventory doesn't cover, and activates long-tail creators who don't (yet) have reach. Feeds #1: bounty hunters need pro tools.

Memberships (viewer money)

Who pays: viewers (channel sub à la Twitch). Who earns: creator + platform fee.

Monetises the only role that otherwise pays nothing — and binds creators to the Watch surface (maintaining a channel becomes worth it). Feeds Watch traffic, which in turn recruits #3 clippers.

Watch ads / API

Ads in the feed or a data API for tools — only once Watch traffic is big on its own. Deliberately NOT planned in v3.

⚡ The day-1 rule stays the key

All five streams hang on the same three schema decisions from the very first recording: licensing consent (#2/#4 need a licensable inventory), clipping permission + split rate (#3 can't open without it) and the consent audit log (the compliance base for everything). Also from day 1: apply for the publishing API approvals — an external gate, not build time.
